A Legacy of Service That You Can Trust

For three generations, the Garretts have been selling homes.

My grandparents, Caye and Ben Garrett had a real estate brokerage when my father, Greg Garrett, was a child. When my dad was 19, he began his career in real estate, and quickly established himself as one of the top real estate agents in Hampton Roads before becoming the top agent. As he grew in real estate, before getting to the top, he started Century 21 Greg Garrett Realty, which became one of the top 15 Century 21 companies in the country. At one point, the top 3 REALTORS® in Hampton Roads (out of over 1000 agents) worked at Century 21 Greg Garrett Realty. After ownership changed hands at Century 21 on the corporate level, and policies shifted, he established Greg Garrett 


I grew up in Hampton Roads. Of all of Greg’s children, I was the most into sales as a boy, regularly the top salesman in my Boy Scout Troop, and the number three salesman of BSA popcorn in VA one year.

In high school, I was a National Merit Scholar semi-finalist, captain of my football team, and received the award for Most Valuable Senior Male Athlete. I have a BA in Christian Education from Wheaton College where I was an all-conference lacrosse player. I also have a masters in practical theology from Regent University.


Prior to becoming an agent, I spent eight months in the marketing department at Greg Garrett Realty, which later changed its name to Garrett Realty Partners. During that time I put together marketing material including highlight sheets, postcards, and otherwise for hundreds of properties, ranging from under $100,000 to over $1,000,000. While in the marketing department, I learned many things that most agents never learn, including acquiring the ability to use Adobe Photoshop and InDesign for print and digital media. I managed a team to work on select agents’ Facebooks to put in systems that would both benefit their own business as well as that of the company. I worked with real estate sites like Zillow, Trulia, and I researched the various forms of social media that agents at GGR could use to their advantage. I filmed Greg Garrett University and began filming and producing other videos on Youtube for Greg Garrett Realty, which are available on my Youtube channels. Following my 8 months in marketing, I transitioned into sales, where I continue to use social media, video, Adobe InDesign & Photoshop, real estate sites like, etc. to market listings, assist and educate buyers and sellers, etc.
