Origins, Education, & Volunteering:

I was born in Hampton, and moved back and forth between Hampton and Yorktown growing up, though I have also lived in Newport News where the Garrett Realty Partners corporate office is located in addition to its smaller offices in Williamsburg & VA Beach. I am currently a resident of Suffolk. I grew up in Hampton Roads, graduating from school mostly locally in Hampton (K-5 at Gloria Dei), Newport News (8-12 at Hampton Roads Academy), & Virginia Beach (Master's at Regent University). The only exception is my BA at Wheaton College near Chicago. I am married, a former youth minister, and an active member of my church who loves to help the homeless through education & otherwise as well as serve on mission trips when time allows, especially with the organization founded by my father, Orphan Helpers

Basics of My Real Estate:

I serve full time at Garrett Realty Partners & am a current member of the Outstanding Salesmanship Club of my office's primary local association of Realtors (VPAR) based on my gross closed volume. I serve throughout 757 and 804. I value availability, a strong work ethic, and saving my clients as much time and money as possible. I seek out creative solutions to resolving problems and helping my clients, such as offering live or recorded video to those out of state with my state of the art Samsung Galaxy S-20 Ultra 5-G, whether for inspections, repairs completed, or showings. I am a certified Airman by the FAA for small unmanned aircraft for commercial use & have a Mavic Air 2 drone available for showings (when permitted) & listings. To find creative solutions, I use the wealth of knowledge at Garrett Realty Partners, including that of my father, who has had a higher sales volume than anyone in many Hampton Roads cities for over 20 years. I am a 3rd generation Realtor, with both of my father's parents having been Realtors. If you see my reviews and online recommendations, you will find multiple reviewers talk about how much I value ethics, taking care of my clients' best interests, etc. I find that diversity enhances life, have loved experiencing other cultures both globally in a few dozen international trips and here in the US, and have the At Home with Diversity designation. The team that I work with is an excellent support structure for purchasing a home with proven techniques & wise insights into the market that you will not find at other companies, while I will still be your primary point of contact and working with me will not feel like an assembly line, as with certain other companies and agents. I am a client educator as you can see from this website.

Helping Sellers:

Prior to starting in sales at Garrett Realty Partners I marketed over 100 properties in the marketing department there. For listings I use a Ricoh Theta Z1 for virtual tours.

Helping Purchasers:

My list of programs to reduce home cost are unmatched in Hampton Roads, whether by lender, competing Realtor, community advocate, or otherwise. I am so convinced of that I offer $500 to anyone who can show me a list of programs larger than mine, and I have never had anyone succeed.
