Realtor.com has come out with market forecasts for 2024. The results are good for Hampton Roads, ranked #16 out of the 100 largest U.S. Metros by appreciation projection of homes, at 5.3%.
The Richmond area came in at #37 by sales price projection year over year, with a 3.3% positive appreciation projection.
The Realtor.com results are not sortable by median sales price projection year over year, so I added the results to a spreadsheet here, then sorted by that projection:
